Served an average of 245 Clients in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton & Jasper Counties

Provided over $67,000 In emergency financial assistance for housing, utilities, transportation, medicines, medical lab work & final expenses.

Nutrition Services Program has provided over 1,500 individuals with meals.

Tested over 400 persons at high risk for HIV infection.

Delivered 250+ HIV/STD Prevention Education Interventions to youth, young adults & incarcerated persons.

Provided 50+ case management services to homeless individuals and placed 12 individuals in permanent subsidized housing after one year of op-eration.

Provided Youth Development activities serving over 1,000 young people through programs such as IAMR (The Institute), a youth leadership and personal development project; JAG, a school based employment enhancement program; and Camp HOPE, a Free Summer Camp for youth ages 5-14 in Hampton County.

HIV/AIDS Awareness

ACCESS was founded in 1987 in response to the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic.  In the mid 1990s the focus of ACCESS client service changed from addressing end of life issues to helping people who are affected by HIV/AIDS live with the disease.  ACCESS offers assistance with long term medical care, FREE confidential HIV Testing and Counseling, Group & Individual support programs, education and prevention, and nutrition programs.  HIV and AIDS are still problems nationwide and while our focus has changed it is still our goal to help those affected by HIV/AIDS.  Learn more here.

ACCESS Network serves Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper county homeless in many ways.  We offer Emergency Finacial Assistance, Home Haven, Housing First Program, Technical Assistance and training and awareness.  Homelessness is an often overlooked issue in our area, but it is a serious problem.  Learn more here.
